Image Submissions
If you submit photographs to Photo Coach for critique or other services, those images are stored on our servers and made accessible to the expert or contractor responsible for your critique. Images are not shared publicly without your consent. We retain submitted images for the duration of your engagement and for a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping purposes.
Support Enquiries
When you contact us for support, your messages may be stored in a customer support platform. This includes your name, email address, and the content of your enquiry.
Games and Interactive Tools
Some tools and games on Photo Coach collect limited data to support functionality — such as scores or session information. IP addresses may be recorded for anti-abuse purposes (e.g., rate limiting on leaderboards). This data is not linked to your account and is not retained beyond the period needed for the relevant feature to function.
Affiliate Program
If you participate in our affiliate program, we collect account and payment information necessary to track referrals and process commissions.
Cookies
We use cookies for the following purposes:
- Authentication: When you log in, cookies are set to maintain your session. Login session cookies last for two days; if you select "Remember Me," your login will persist for two weeks. These are removed when you log out.

- Functional: Some features (e.g., game sessions, repeat-prevention) use temporary session cookies that expire when you close your browser.

- Support communications are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to support ongoing customer service.
- Game and leaderboard data (including IP addresses) is retained only for the period required for that feature to function, typically no longer than 30 days.
Your Rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or outdated personal data
- Request deletion of your personal data, subject to any legal retention obligations

Data Storage and Security
Photo Coach is hosted on cloud infrastructure located in Singapore (DigitalOcean). By using this site, you consent to your data being processed and stored outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to protect your personal data from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access.
Affiliate Links
Where a link on this site would result in a financial benefit to us — such as a commission or referral fee — that relationship will be clearly disclosed at the point of the link. We will never benefit from a link without telling you.
